Piano bar / café in Grindavík
Chris - I found a piano! Here I am playing the opening bars to some Cole Porter tune: "Night & Day", I think. And look, Catherine, at how nice and straight I am sitting at the piano. We found a little coffee place called the Bryggjan (I think it means "pier" in Icelandic) at the harbourfront of the town of Grindavík, population 2800. The café is brand new as of last year, as is the campground in town. We stayed at the Grindavík tjaldsvæði (campground) two nights, taking the time to visit the famous Bláa Lónið (Blue Lagoon) which is about 6 kilometres from town.
At the Bryggjan café in Grindavík.
